The pride of the Fort Wayne Parks Department is Foster Park Golf Course, where a surrounding park and woods provide an incredible backdrop to a challenging course. The 18-hole course with a par of 71 is maintained in excellent condition and with hole locations close to one another, the course is easy to walk. The greens are guarded by an occasional bunker and the rough is player friendly, but don't be fooled. Foster Park's length will require you to use every club in the bag.

McMillen Park Golf Course is a superb executive course  that will leave you shaking your head at its 18-hole, par 65 layout. The front nine wind through an old grove of trees providing some tight driving holes. If you stray into the woods guarding the greens you will be faced with some difficult par saves. And while adding an element of danger, the woods certainly add to the beauty of the course. The backside is a lot more open and almost every shot will leave you with a chance to hit the green in regulation. McMillen Park is an excellent course to work on your game, where forgiving fairways and well-groomed greens help to build confidence.

Founded in 1968, Colonial Oaks was built and designed by golf professional Pat Riley, a Fort Wayne native. Today, Colonial Oaks is still owned and operated by the Riley family. The 18-hole, par 71 golf course, now over 40 years old, is mature and features a variety of grand oak trees true to its name, with bent grass greens, tees and fairways. Among the most prestigious Fort Wayne golf courses, Orchard Ridge Country Club began in 1924 as a 9-hole course. In the coming years, Orchard Ridge would grow to be an 18-hole par 71 course originally designed by Frank MacDonald (later redesigned in 1990 by Arthur Hills). In 1955, Orchard Ridge hosted the first LPGA Championship.

Through the years, this most challenging of Fort Wayne golf courses has attracted many celebrities and has hosted major national tours and tournaments. However, its design offers plenty of enjoyment for players of all skill levels. Four lakes, gently rolling hills and strategically bunkered greens all nestled in 120 acres are ideal for a day on the links. The club's golf shop with a wide range of equipment and apparel is open to the public.
